Italy: Chapter 5: Water and more Water

We got up and went to the farmers market:

And got excited about all of Padua's water features:

And back on the train...

And more water....

 

Bonjourno Venezia!

 Our apartment was within walking distance from the train station in the Jewish Ghetto area. We felt like we were in a huge maze but after following our directions we found the apartment owner's house:

She brought us to the apartment around the corner. Here's our super quiet street and apartment:

We got settled and went out exploring. Walking to a nearby bar for a snack along the canals:


 And found ourselves getting talked into a gondola ride:

Here we are at St. Marks Square

Beating the crowds and saving our money by window shopping at night! The little allies are so quiet and enchanting at night.
