New Pieces

This piece utilizes two sides of a stretcher bar and a found piece of wood as a base. Handwoven material (from last September's weaving camp!) is stretched and in some areas stuffed between the wood pieces. A braided cord of pine needles, fiber, and wool roving are woven in and out of the piece.

In this piece a handmade piece of abaca paper twists around a corner of a wood frame and a piece of found wood. Fiber and wool roving are wrapped and needle felted into the wood and paper.


And this piece is oil pastel on Arches watercolor paper, found wood, a whole frame, fiber, and wool roving. Its not quite there yet and will undergo more changes:
